PAPULES

A least dangerous type of pimple is “papules”. They are tiny,
firm bumps that do not carry pus. Normally they are painless but they become irritated or tender if touched. Some
dermatologists think that papules are a middle step between inflammatory and non inflammatory lesions. Papules must
not be popped as they do not contain any pus. Popping will only aggravate the irritation.
A papule is formed when the follicular walls
break. The white blood cells rush towards the wall and the pore becomes inflamed.
